A simple habit tracker is a great way to cultivate good habits that can have a big impact on your life over time.
Quite a few of my goals this year relate to being consistent with certain things I would like to do in my day. To help me achieve success with these new habits, I have been keeping track of them on a daily basis. For example, one of my goals is to be in bed by 10:30 pm each night. I have been using a habit tracker to help record my progress with this goal.
A habit tracker can be as simple as writing down your progress in a notebook, a printable or keeping track with an app on your phone.
Simply write down the habit you want to achieve. If you did the habit, then check off the box for that day.
Here are a few ideas to use in your tracker:
- Exercise
- Wake up by 6 a.m.
- Be in bed 10 p.m.
- Journal daily
- Take vitamins
- Read for 30 minutes
I have been using my tracker for a few weeks now and know that this is a work in progress. I will definitely have days where I won’t complete everything, but I like how I can visually see how my goals are going for the year. I am sharing the habit tracker I designed to help you achieve your goals this year.

Which habits do you want to track this year?

I really like habit trackers. They motivate me to do those little repetitive things that can be so important. There is something about checking off or filling in that little box. And by the way, yours is much prettier than mine. 🙂
I agree Donna. I love to check off the boxes. Thanks for visiting.
