Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? The girls enjoyed their trick or treating. The snow held off (until this morning) and it wasn’t too cold, so we were out a little longer than in past years.
Breakfast time … what is on the plate this morning:
Trim Healthy Mama pancakes and a cup of tea.
On today’s to do list:
- Laundry
- Inventory pantry / freezer
- Write grocery list
- Clean / organize under kitchen sink
- Flip mattresses
- Wash my kitchen floor
Currently reading:
Rogue Lawyer by John Grisham
The weather outside is:
Cold! It started snowing this morning when I was walking the girls to the bus stop. Winter has begun.
On the menu this week:
- Monday: Chicken pot pie with broccoli
- Tuesday: Spaghetti bolognese and caesar salad
- Wednesday: Shepherd’s Pie with green beans
- Thursday: Homemade pizza
- Friday: Leftovers / buffet night
- Saturday: Dinner out
- Sunday: Roast beef and trimmings
Looking forward to this week:
Going to the library with the girls.

Love those pumpkins, friend! Have an awesome week 🙂
Can’t believe you’re dealing with snow already – aauugghh!!! Hope winter doesn’t come too fast for you!
Such a cozy menu you have planned though. 😉 Love the kiddos’ jack-o-lanterns.
Blessings for the rest of your week. xoxo
We usually have snow from October to around April / May. It may warm up for a few days here and there, but more snow will come. The girls had a great time designing their pumpkin faces and then supervising us as we carved them. Hope you have a lovely week Carrie.
