With spring break approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a list of 50 ways to have fun with your children. Some of the ideas are free, others cost money, but all are fun.
1. Have a picnic at the park.
2. Make a fort together using pillows, boxes or blankets.
3. Visit a pet store.
4. Teach them something you know such as magic tricks or how to whistle a blade of grass.
5. Visit the ice cream store.
6. Have a dance party.
7. Make your children laugh by telling jokes or having a tickle fight.
8. Visit a museum.
9. Give your children piggy-back rides.
10. Read stories together.
11. Go for a bike ride.
12. Fly kites.
13. Paint or draw together.
14. Volunteer.
15. Create an obstacle course.
16. Take photos of nature.
17. Visit the library.
18. Play board games.
19. Make play dough from scratch.
20. Have a scavenger hunt.
21. Make puppets.
22. Go to the airport to watch airplanes.
23. Play hide and seek.
24. Take turns saying tongue twisters.
25. Make a comic book.
26. Run through sprinklers.
27. Bake a cake and decorate it.
28. Play dress up.
29. Learn to juggle.
30. Build paper airplanes.
31. Visit the zoo.
32. Sing songs.
33. Play hopscotch.
34. Finger paint.
35. Play with Lego.
36. Go swimming.
37. Play Simon Says.
38. Jump rope.
39. Blow bubbles.
40. Play soccer.
41. Make up a story together.
42. Plant seeds in the garden.
43. Bake treats for a neighbour.

These are all great ideas. We love to be in the kitchen together or playing outside.
