31 Days of Autumn {Day 5}: Pumpkin Pie Spice Recipe

October 5, 2013 by Debbie 1 Comment

Making your own pumpkin pie spice is easy and economical. You can also customize it exactly to your family’s liking.

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

Mix spices together in a small bowl and store in a small jar or spice container.

Enjoy in pumpkin spice lattes, in pumpkin pie, added to oatmeal, as a topping for sweet potatoes, in pumpkin pancakes or add to playdough for a delicious scent.

You can also attach a ribbon and label and share with friends and neighbours.

Thanks for sharing this, I knew the ingredients but wasn’t sure on the quantities. I will be pinning this for later.
