31 Days of Autumn {Day 4}: Autumn Centrepiece

October 4, 2013 by Debbie 1 Comment

This year, I wanted to try my hand at making a pumpkin centrepiece.

Start with a smallish pumpkin, some floral sponge and flowers in lovely autumn colours.

Cut the top off the pumpkin with a small knife.

Take out the seeds using an ice cream scoop.

Insert a plastic bag into the hole to protect the pumpkin from becoming too wet. Then add the soaked floral sponge and cut to size.

Start inserting the flowers into the sponge until you are pleased with the arrangement.

Enjoy your beautiful centrepiece.
