All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot

James Herriot is a new graduate of veterinary college and has moved to Yorkshire to start practicing.  He shares stories of his animal patients, his new colleagues, brothers Siegfried and Tristan, and the colorful characters he meets in the beautiful English countryside in the 1930s.

The Great British Bake Off: Christmas by Lizzie Kamenetzky

This book is a celebration of Christmas with 100 delicious recipes for the festive season, including the classic mince pies and Christmas pudding and plenty of ideas for what to do with the leftovers.

This Year It Will Be Different by Maeve Binchy

Maeve Binchy has written a collection of fifteen stories about the festive season in contemporary life.
