Yay for date night!
Please do tell me about this mushroom sauce you’re having with your chicken.
Have a great week, friend!
Sorry for the late reply Joanna. I don’t really follow a recipe as such. I melt a tablespoon or two of butter in a pan, slice about 10 – 15 button mushrooms and add those. I let this cook for a few minutes. Then add a couple of tablespoons of dry white wine, cook that down and then add approximately 1/2 cup of chicken broth and reduce down again for a few minutes. Then I add a cup of cream and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer until it is the thickness you want. You can add more cream or parmesan cheese, herbs or garlic to flavour it the way you want.
Hi Debbie!
I love your menu and everything must feel so cozy there with snow already! They’re predicting some our way by the end of the week. 😉
My hubby and I went on a date night last weekend and enjoyed dinner and that James Bond movie – it was good – action packed!
