When my shower head needs cleaning, here’s what I do.
Take a plastic baggie and pour in 1/3 cup of baking soda. Slowly add 1 cup of white vinegar. Be careful as it bubble up quickly. Place this over your shower head and use a twist tie or binder clip to secure the bag.
Leave the bag on for a few hours or overnight if possible. Rinse with water before use.
