Here’s a simple way to find your oven hot spot.
1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Line a cookie sheet with bread slices and put into the oven.
3. When the bread starts to toast, make a note of which slices toast faster than the others. These indicate the hot spots in your oven.
Based on this knowledge, you can make adjustments in your baking (such as rotating pans or placing a pan in a different part of the oven) to prevent burning.
