I have been thinking about how best to describe our trip to England. I was born and raised there and we visit occasionally to catch up with friends and family. It had been five years since our last visit, when Miss S was nearly 2 and family and friends had never met Miss C. It was a difficult trip and I returned home emotionally drained.
On the bright side, my girls had a great time, despite the rainy weather we had for two weeks.
Scarborough Beach
The girls had a lovely morning, building sandcastles, dipping their toes in the water and enjoyed two donkey rides. We then walked the pier and shops and ended the day with fresh fish and chips at a local pub. Yummy!
