Here’s what I’m reading in June.
Homecoming by Cathy Kelly
This novel is set in Ireland and has four main female characters. Eleanor left Ireland many years ago with a suitcase and her mother’s recipe book. She has returned from New York and is drawn into the lives of the other women.
Megan is an actress who is hiding from the paparazzi. Connie is a kind hearted teacher who has all but given up on love and Rae works in a tea room where she dispenses friendship and sympathy, but whose happy face hides a painful past.
The Mom’s Guide To Running A Business by Michelle Lee Ribeiro
This book is a follow up to Crafting A Business. 28 mom entrepreneurs are interviewed and share their stories about running their own businesses while raising a family.
Gray Mountain: A Novel by John Grisham
Samantha Kofer is a lawyer at a large Wall Street firm, until the recession hits and she is furloughed. She is offered an opportunity at a legal aid clinic for one year without pay. Now Samantha has to practice real law helping real people. Very soon she finds herself involved in litigation that turns deadly.

Thanks so much for the invite Mary! Have a lovely week.
Mom’s guide to running a business sounds like something I MUST read. I’m reading so many books at the same time that my bedstand is practically crashing under the weight of it all. Rabbit, Run (for the book club this month), The Artist’s Way for parents (to cultivate artistic self-expression in kids), Fifty Secrets of the World’s Longest Living People (because I strive for healthy), Bill Bryson’s book about English (because I love a good laugh), I think you might get tired of reading my long message by this time… Have a good week! See you at Mary’s Literacy Musings.
Mom’s Guide had lots of beautiful photos and inspiration. I really enjoyed it. I love reading lots of books at once. Your list sounds full of interesting reads Eva!
I love learning what other people are reading. Right now, I’m reading Hands Free Mama (again) and Living with Intent and Your Sacred Yes
Hands Free Mama has been on my list for a while. I shall try and get to it this summer.
