Summer Vacation

September 6, 2014 by Debbie Leave a Comment

Oh wow! How quickly did this summer pass by?

My sister came to stay with us for a few weeks and we had such a great time.

We took a drive down to Coaldale, near Lethbridge to visit the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre. We try and make a run down there every summer as the girls enjoy meeting the birds.

Miss C celebrated her 5th birthday with a trip to the zoo and then dinner at her favourite restaurant, Boston Pizza.

Of course, we had to visit our local amusement park.

And And then we had a surprise trip to Vancouver.  The girls were so excited when they found out where we were going.

We did so much in our four days.  We drove to Steveston, White Rock, went on a boat ride, visited the aquarium, took a chair lift ride up Grouse Mountain, went up the wind turbine at the top of the mountain, saw grizzly bears, played at the beach, walked on the sea wall, took the small boat to Granville Island and had lovely fish and chips and then on our final day we went to the science centre.

We were all exhausted when we came home, but had such a fabulous time!
