This is June’s update for my goals this year.
Health
Goal 1. Lose 15 pounds. I have not gained or lost any weight over the last month. I need to get back to a regular exercise routine as I have been putting off exercising (other than walking) recently.
Goal 2. Walk 1,000 miles. I have walked 451.81 miles so far this year.
Goal 3. Practice self-care. I feel as if this has not been a priority over the last month or two. I have not been eating as well as I should and I have definitely been feeling tired. I need to focus on a regular bedtime and eating enough healthy food during the day.
Family
Goal 1. Have a date with each of my girls once a month. Miss S and I have been enjoying watching Jeopardy together and taking walks around our neighbourhood. Miss C and I have spent time together drawing and colouring.
Goal 2. Have one date a month with my husband. We had a lovely lunch out at a restaurant recently. The first time in a very long time.
Goal 3. Have a family date once a month. We recently took a drive into the countryside and had a nice afternoon enjoying the views.
Home
Goal 1. Declutter my basement. I have made a good start. I decluttered clothes, electronics and old toys and have a large pile of items to donate to the charity shop.
Goal 2. Organize our digital photos. I haven’t done anything on this in the last month.
Goal 3. Keep to a regular housecleaning routine. I have been doing okay with this. I need to complete tasks in the morning while I have more energy.
Blog
Goal 1. Post on a regular basis. I missed posting in May, but will try to keep to my regular posting schedule now.
Goal 2. Complete the blogging course I purchased. I have completed another lesson. Yay!
Goal 3. Build a community. I’m currently researching how to incorporate this into the blog.
