Here’s how I did with my goals in February.
My 12 Goals For 2022 {Update 2}
Goal 1. Lose 16 pounds.
Update: I have maintained the same weight this month.
Goal 2. Go to bed by 10:30 pm each night.
Update: I have managed this every night this month.
Goal 3. Eat healthier.
Update: I have still been eating oatmeal for breakfast, either cooked on the stove top or baked in the oven. I have also been eating boiled eggs, celery and carrot sticks for a snack.
Goal 4. Drink four large glasses of water a day.
Update: I have been better at drinking water, but I have not managed to do this every day in February.
Goal 5. Exercise four times a week.
Update: I have not achieved this. I have been walking and have nearly completed the Marathon to Athens virtual challenge, but I have not done much circuit training or weight lifting.
Goal 6. Read 52 books.
Update: I have read four books this month. I chose Death Around the Bend, The School of Greatness, What Katy Did and The Wealthy Barber.
Goal 7. Journal (document my life).
Update: I have been journaling in the evening and have tried to incorporate it as part of my evening routine.
Goal 8. Make time for hobbies.
Update: I enjoyed making banana bread this month.
Goal 9. Try a new recipe once a month.
We had Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes for dinner one night. It was a hit with the family, but it wasn’t a recipe that I greatly enjoyed.
Goal 10. Double my emergency fund.
Update: I set money aside for my emergency fund this month.
Goal 11. Donate to charity.
Update: I set money aside for charity this month.
Goal 12. Have a family game night once a month.
Update: We did not manage to have a game night this month, although we did have a movie night and enjoyed watching Encanto.
