Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and 2023 has been a good year for you so far.
As you may have noticed, I have had an extended blog break since March of last year. This was not intentional, but I needed to focus on my other commitments (health and family). I feel I’m in a better place and can build time in to blog again.
Goals for 2022 Update
Goal 1. Lose 16 pounds.
Update: I did achieve this goal!
Goal 2. Go to bed by 10:30 pm each night.
Update: I had a couple of occasions where I went to bed later, but for most of the year I achieved this goal.
Goal 3. Eat healthier.
Update: I have been eating healthier, but I have also eaten chocolate and more processed foods during times of stress. For an occasional treat this is okay for my body, but I need to replace this habit with a healthier habit.
Goal 4. Drink four large glasses of water a day.
Update: I have been drinking more water daily.
Goal 5. Exercise four times a week.
Update: I did not achieve this. I did a lot of walking (especially to earn my Conqueror Challenge medals), but it was not as consistent as I would have liked.
Goal 6. Read 52 books.
Update: Achieved.
Goal 7. Journal (document my life).
Update: I definitely journaled more last year and am incorporating this into my evening routine so I can do it consistently.
Goal 8. Make time for hobbies.
Update: I did watercolour painting, baking and reading.
Goal 9. Try a new recipe once a month.
Update: I did not achieve this.
Goal 10. Double my emergency fund.
Update: I did save money and put it in my emergency fund, but I did not double it.
Goal 11. Donate to charity.
Update: Achieved.
Goal 12. Have a family game night once a month.
Update: We did not do this every month.
