Be Kind

May 29, 2015 by Debbie 7 Comments

Words are powerful.

Mother Teresa quote

They can be destructive or constructive.  We want to build healthy and positive relationships.  The best way to do this is to be kind.  We need to understand that words can hurt. We need to listen, choose our words wisely and control our reactions to the people around us.

As a mom do you really listen to your children or start to accuse without hearing the whole story?

Do you criticize or provide affirmation?

Do you provide clear instruction on how to be kind so your children can model you?

Do you use words to encourage and build up your children?

It is time to be kind.
